One question I see on EC repeatedly is "How/where do I meet other LGBQT people in my area?" As someone who has moved around the country a lot, I know that I have found the best way for me to meet new people - and I'm an introvert - is by volunteering for a cause I believe in. Then, not only do I build new relationships, but they're usually with considerate, like-minded people. So, to the point of this post... I saw this in an RSS feed I get, and although it's not in my area, I thought anyone here on EC from the Pittsburgh area might like to get involved.
