I love the shellfish, Bible bit, I've never seen anyone outside a Red Lobster holding a sign saying repent.

Beside the irony of the tattoo, I have one question :

Do you think he will regret it one day when homophobia in whatever place he lives is seen as taboo, like how racism is now

    I hope so.

Hmm, the next verse about the tattoos might actually be suitable for my next tattoo

Perhaps, but no one expects to regret a tattoo, even if they end up doing so.

Probably not, there are still plenty of idiots out there who walk around with swastikas and other racist tattoos all over their body no matter how taboo racism might be in 'polite' society.

Gotta wonder what underlying matter is concerning this individual so much that other people's business (homosexuality) is such a deep concern of his that he would mutilate his body with his own discrimination.

Maybe that bible verse is about telling the truth rather than homosexuality. "Thou shalt not lie with a male as one does with a woman"

Seriously though there are many LGBT christians, including myself a practicising catholic. I did not choose to be gay and I tried very unsuccessfully to adopt a heterosexual lifestyle but I just became incredibly unhappy and was causing a lot of hurt to those around me. Being gay does not conflict with my faith and if I am made feel unwelcome in the future I will simply change my christian denomination. Lying about your sexuality just causes pain on those you love so I do not people that those with a hatred of homosexuality are really doing it because of they're religious beliefs but rather to satisfy their own spite. :eusa_naug

"If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

I hate that the Nazis co-opted swastikas. They are ancient symbols from India and used throughout Asia as a symbol for good.

Racism isn't taboo as long as you don't identify as racist. It's still rampant and obvious.

Actually Lev 18:23 (English Standard Version) "And you shall not lie with any animal and so make yourself unclean with it, neither shall any woman give herself to an animal to lie with it: it is perversion."

I saw a video years ago (I wish I could find it) where an interviewer goes around asking lots of Americans "would you vote for a heterosexual president?" and there are loads of them saying "No, no I don't think I would be comfortable with that", or "I don't have anything against heterosexuality but I don't think that would be appropriate"...
