    Wow I just had to completely lie to keep my orientation a secret.

    I was looking at a picture of Jazz on EC and my dorm mate looked over and saw the picture and she was like, 'Is that your friend?' and I was thinking 'Oh shit' so I said 'Yeah' and she was like, 'That's a really pretty picture, where was it taken?' I was like, 'Um...in her garden?' and she was like, 'Yeah but what country?' and I was like, 'Umm...England?' (Just off the top of my head lol)

    Anyway thankfully she seems to have bought it but that was scary!! Imagine having to tell her 'Oh this is my online friend that I met on a gay website'!! *shivers*

    I freak out whenever someone just comes barging into the room and I'm looking at the forums, especially the picture-y threads :confused:

    I mean, its just that no one knows I'm gay yet and it would be kinda awkward >.<

    Yes Helen I did know that but the fact is I was making up crap on the spot and 'England' was the first country that came to mind. :slight_smile:

    I'd tend to just say "Oh, I met him/her/it/them on the net." and leave it at that.

    If they say "Where?" I'd reply "A forum."

    If they ask "Which?" I'd reply "What's with all the questions?" and get a bit annoyed.
