Ok, I came out to one of my friends from work yesterday. After work he invited me over for a beer. Of course he started asking questions that nobody would ask a straight person. While I was deflecting the questions I really didn't want to answer he asked about the rumors on blacks being bigger. I told him from what I have seen there is no real difference. This got me to thinking though. How do you define what's 'big' exactly? Yea if dude is 10 inches and as thick as a soda can that thing is HUGE. But how would you compare a dude who has 8 inches and is only as thick as your thumb to a guy who is 6 inches but over 2 inches thick? Which would you consider bigger? Would you consider either one to be 'big'? How do you define 'big'? There are enough threads about 'average size' or 'how big you are' I don't reallt care. I'm just curious how other members determine 'big'.
Thickness is first, followed by length in my book. I guess you could compare to the recorded average. That's around 5.5" in length but I'm not sure aout circumference.
I was only with one guy but I'd say that whether part A is big or not depends on how big is part B. So for me both is big, but 6/2 is definitely bigger because I'd probably wouldn't be able to take it in.

For me, it would be based on being too big for my mouth and too difficult to fit below. Especially if it hurts too much due to size.
Big cocks are nice to look at but size is over rated when it comes to enjoyment. I'm very average and the best lover I ever had was slightly bigger than me. He could take me to erotic outer space. And it wasn't the size that did it.
For the most part I suspect it's a combo of social programming and purely subjective judgement. At some point growing up guys see other guys naked, both around their age and adults. Adult men are going to be bigger, plus there's the whole sex talk about your body going thru changes etc. Somewhere in there may be porn in which size is likely mentioned (it SO big! He rammed his huge tool into me, etc. etc.). There's also the whole competition thing with guys in all kind of areas. And so on and so forth with lots of influences combining to make guys aware of penis size both their own and everyone else's in a theoretical kind of way. As to how a given person judges whether a given size is 'big' or not. If a guy is significantly bigger than you, you will probably think he's big, unless you're of a size and experience level that you know most guys are bigger than you. Presumably guys who are almost always larger than their partners figure out they are big, even if no one says so. Whether you consider length or girth to be the unit of measure may depend on what you're doing or have done in the past. Todd
This isn't really related to the topic but your post reminded me of a couple I saw at a mall... The guy must've been 6'8" or something and his lady-friend might have been 4' or 5'. Normally I don't pay much attention to other people but it was an interesting juxtaposition. I also couldn't help but wonder if she could go down on him without actually going down on him!
I think it would be just by personal preference? I don't really know, but I would say just by peoples preferences, since I think people all have different opinions it would be based on their experiences.
I consider over 9L by 2W to be big, 6L by 2W to 8L by 2W to be large, and 5L by 1.5W to 6L by 1.5W to be average, and of course 10+ to be huge. I once was with a guy who was 14L by 1.75W and it was weird. I find with the guy I love being huge, sex feels great and just as great as a guy who I am in love with who is average. It only makes a difference when I am not in love or at least lust, then I prefer him to be average. One thing nobody ever talks about is the size of the rest of his package. I prefer it to look balanced when he is soft. (hang the same length or slightly lower) If not, then that is a time I say the bigger the better! June

Size doesn't really matter to me (yes, I'm being honest) I can work with anything. ...and now I sound like a slut :lol: BUT REALLY, you get what I mean :roflmao: But I think it comes down to personal preference. Whatever you can handle and like is what you thing is big. Some like 10+ Some like just 5. It all comes down to you.
Size does not matter it how you use it seriously could be well hung and have no clue how the pleasure someone properly.
As long as it isn't too big (or too small), I don't care what kind of dick someone has. I focus more on the body itself rather than someone's more sexual parts, but that's just me. (I can totally see the appeal, though) To answer your question though, I consider long dicks to be the big ones.
