This thread must have been created at least once, but I'm really curious.

Yeah, they've got four kids together- must be having the same sex or something...

Unfortunately no. Maybe if I did I'd have a better chance of being accepted.

In middle school everybody thought I did because my mom has a name that both men and women have, so I got asked so many times, "Do you have two dads?"

Well, nobody seems to have same-sex parents. Although that wasn't the purpose of this thread, I can safely put my finger up at the "same-sex parents make their kids gay" crowd.

I guess that this is an LGBT support forum. Same-sex parents would probably be more accepting, so a site like EC wouldn't be as necessary.

Maybe if this is posted 10-20 years from now, we'll see a few 'yes' replies...

It's weird to think it could be us, and our kids could be answering "yes" xD

I don't but I when I was in Year 7 or 8 at high school, a lesbian couple who were helping me through my emotional dramas due to a bad environment at home offered me to stay with them. Only said no because my mother would have made their lives hell and I loved them too much to do that to them.

If you're assuming that just because a couple are of the same sex, that their children will turn out to be gay as well? That's a really large step back from how far we've come. We've already came to find out that being gay, bi, etc, etc, isn't a choice.. It's something that you were born with, and the assumption that because my parents are gay, therefore I must be gay is really ignorant, and it's these types of thoughts that help bolster propaganda like Putin's by saying that same sex couples are gonna kill the population and shit like that.

I think your right, the answers will change in the next generation. But then again, maybe we wont need this site because it will be the norm and most people will be accepting.

I never said that. I said that gay parents would likely be far more accepting, meaning their LGBT kids wouldn't really need to go to an anonymous support forum.

hahahaha lolno. Both parents are ridiculously homophobic, it's funny just thinking of my mother with a woman. She'd spend her entire life with an expression of sheer horror lol

I don't, but one of my best friends from high school was adopted by a lesbian couple along with her brother and sister. My boyfriend also has a four year old daughter. So I guess I'm sort of like a gay step-dad now. xD
