A bucket list is a list of things you want to do or accomplish before you die.

Hrm...I'd definitely like to leave the country someday. I'd also like to help out/live on a farm at some point. And, naturally as a writer, I want to be published at least once. But, beside that...My main 'bucket list' is:

    -Marry someone I truly love
    -Maybe adopt a kid
-Fly a plane, go paragliding or something along those lines
-Help a lot of people through my writing/art
-Help lots of kids when I become a special ed teacher.

    Marry a man I love
Successfully accumulate my family affairs and documents so it can be handed down neatly and in a simple and orderly way (that's a task we've all been rather terrible at)
Get a doctorate or at least a master's degree
Speak Spanish, French, and Finnish (maybe more) fluently

I only have one more thing. I have done all the things I wanted but transitioning that money can buy, like I have been to all the places I wanted to go like The Queen Mary, and the Overlook Hotel off The Shinning (Temberline Lodge Mt. Hood, Or), and the Devil's Tower in Close Encounters of the Third Kind to name a few. I have owned all the possessions I have ever wanted, houses, cars, antiques, etc.

My biggest want is to have a big wedding. It is the one thing money can't buy me.... Mike will never do it to make me happy as he thinks the idea is silly. Oh well! June

    * TRANSITION ALREADY!
    * Marry the love of my life
    * Travel the world with him
    * Get a big place of our own with enough space to cater to our interests (I see us living in PA, NY or somewhere in Canada like Toronto)
    * Learn how to play the piano, guitar and violin
    * Finish working on my musical
    * Direct at least one movie that has a cult following
    * Learn Icelandic and French (in the event I move to Canada or Iceland)
    * Get citizenship in Canada (and possibly Iceland)

I'll list more when if I think of anything

Call me weird, but honestly I always knew I would die at a young age. Like around the late 20s' or early 30s. So my only goal would be to just move out soon and live on my own for a while.

I've been thinking lately I may want an adopted son, even though I've sworn off parenthood for so long.

A portion of my list can be viewed here.

It's not entirely up to date, as I posted it when we still had the ability to edit blog posts. And I've changed since its initial creation - both for better and for worse.

But the idea of a list of things one wants to accomplish in life has always fascinated me. Socially, at least I feel, it allows our innermost desires to come forward. I love that. I love the insight into other people's minds sharing these lists can provide.

Drive around Australia in a bus or in something tows a caravan. Visit some countries such as Austria. Would love to meet Elton John in the flesh and have a good yarn with him. Own a set of ladies outfits.

    - Attend some kind of big rally thing,
    - Go see a musical in Germany,
    - Actually become fluent in German,
    - Earn a plaque somewhere,
    - Complete higher education, and
    - Get married (if my hypothetical partner wants to).

I'm slightly fuzzy on the details, in case you hadn't noticed. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Mirko: I think you've set yourself an impossible task with that reading one...

treeofleaves: I know what you mean! What colors would you want to paint it?

Black Cat: If you want the post edited, just say.

I want to be strong enough to continue helping people despite abuse I get from all sectors of humanity.

I want to set up a charity and do something practical to help people.

I'd like to make a difference and alleviate suffering.

I'd like to convince people that the worship of money can often lead to hardship, suffering and bloodshed.

Get my PhD (I'm halfway there)
Go to all 50 states (35/50)
    Drive across the US
Visit the Baseball Hall of Fame
Take a boat across the Atlantic Ocean
    Raft the Grand Canyon
    Get married
Write a book (related to my research, not a novel)
    Visit all MLB stadiums (7/30)

But honestly this is the most important one: be a better and happier person each day than I was the day before
