The response I got back from the United Methodist Church

    Well, I haven't gotten one back from my local church yet, which is the one you'll probably want to read, as they're the ones who can terminate your membership, but I got this in the mail today from the United Methodist Church, and they told me what I had figured. I sent it to the higher-ups just to be safe, and to make sure my rebuke was heard by someone in the administration.

    They printed it on this fancy, textured paper and sent in an envelope that was the same, so I guess it's official.

    It seems kind of patronising, but not too bad. Let us know about the important letter.

    Better than mine. I asked for all record of my baptism to be deleted, as I didn't give consent as a six-month old. They said it was a matter of historical records blah blah blah. But I suppose its irrelevant since it was in a different name.
