Congrats! I LOVE body piercings but the tongue is one of the places I will not go. I guess I'm too scared that it may mess up my teeth.

OMG! I am completely jealous! UGH! I never really wanted any piercings, until about three weeks ago. All of a sudden it just hit me...that having a tongue ring would be amazing!

I keep saying I'm going to get my tongue pierced but I never do it...
I think I'll do it tonight along with the eybrow that fell out 2 months ago.
I'm debating wether I should do my belly button too, but thats seems just a little too gay, even for me

Be careful. Tongue Piercings can get very dangerous, my sister has one, (among various other piercings...) You know you need to avoid eating certain foods/drinks until the hole has completely healed right? I hope they informed you about that :S

I debated a lip piercing for the longest time, would make it the one piercing me and my sisters share... not interested in belly button, nose or ear piercing XD

Ugh, you're much braver than me, I doubt I could have a piercing. Although one of my friends has a tongle piercing, and she bought a vibrating tongue stud at Birmingham Pride, and that ALMOST swayed me to get a piercing.

Tongue piercings aren't my thing either. I've pierced my ears four times, though, it doesn't really hurt me, but I know people who cry after they get it done.

tongue peircings are scary. Such a thick meaty part of your mouth. I have heard that you can mess yourself up if you make a mistake doing it... scary. I am glad it went well for you... but just the idea really freaks me out... plus I could never get a job with a tongue peircing.

I got an Industrial about a month and a half ago, it's still a little sore, but that's normal. It hurt a lot more than I thought it would when I got it done... o.o But then again, the needle was like... a few mm thick. xD I have two lobe piercings on each ear, and I've been debating taking one out and just stretching the other one... but I'm really not sure. I doubt I would get anything pierced that's not on my face or ears. I could get an eyebrow, but I wouldn't get a lip piercing or anything, I don't think. I could get a belly button piercing... but it'd totally be my dirty little secret. xD

An industrial is 1,6mm thick (14ga) usually. I usggest you stretch your lobes up to 6mm or 8mm, my friend stretched only one lobe up to 26mm and it looks weird... And when he takes the jewlery out >.< kinda gross.
Another friend of mine has 2 nape (back of the neck) piercings but they're both rejecting.
