It's actually why I don't have a Twitter-- the stupidity in people that is usually well-hidden by one construct or another is actually encouraged out into the open, and all the filthy little corners are laid bare. I have little enough faith in humanity as it is. XD

And people wonder why I don't have Twitter (or Facebook for that matter).

 

Honestly, twitter is the worst at that. Maybe its just me, but on my Facebook I never see anything as bad as the tweets popping up on that page...That just cements that I am never getting a twitter ever.

 

You do realise you only see the tweets of people you follow...? If you don't follow homophobes, then you won't have an issue (and if you follow extremely pro-queer people like Stephen Fry and Richard Dawkins then it's even better).
