    Hi guys~

Another job issue. Just wondering what people think of this and if they have any suggestions.

My seasonal part-time job keeps giving me 8 hrs a week and "oncall" shifts. Oncall shifts are basically where you call in 2 hrs before hand in order to see if you are working that day. I haven't gotten any of them. So, I am being held up for 20 hrs a week of potential work and only doing 8. I am considering asking my bosses if they can set a certain amount of days for me to work and leave maybe 3 blank so that I can have two part time positions. Do you think that's a good idea?

I'm worried that if I ask, they would be upset and I could risk losing the job I have. Yet at the same time, only working 8 hrs a week gives me very little cash to save for university...
