    I can't help but notice when I look around, there are gay haters everywhere. It's becoming a sequence in which I'm now starting to question myself if I'm not normal or if I'm just a social sqrew up? Maybe this is the lack of gay friends talking, but one can't help to think maybe I'm just weird?

    No, being Gay isn't bad. But of course, there are people who be like 'But you'll go to h*ll!' and all that other nonsense. Just be yourself and if some people don't like you being Gay, they are obviously not worth your time.

    If you can't find gay friends in San Francisco then we are all in trouble. Try the Castro neighborhood. Even in Ohio we've heard about The Castro.

    In the eyes of LGBTQ+ people and supporters, it's not bad. It's just another way of being a person, really. Like being blond, or brunette. It's a thing.

    Among the haters, it's bad because it's different. (if any of that makes sense.)

    No. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

    Sadly there will always be hateful people in the world, but slowly I think they are decreasing in number. Realizing your sexuality and coming out is a difficult and confusing process, but it all pays off in the end. All you can do is be true to yourself. :slight_smile:

    No, it's just a small part of who you are. Those bashers blow it way out of proportion as if that's all there is to a person and it makes us horrible, but think on it. You like guys...Big deal! There's nothing wrong or even significantly different about it. On top of that, you were born gay, so don't get so down about it as if you "failed."

    You'll meet people who think of it that way and will be gladly be your friend and not judge you. Keep your head up!

    No, to me it's not bad being your gay, bisexual, straight, transgender, asexual, pansexual or any other group I've missed out. At the end of the day you are who you are, be proud of yourself. Life's too short to spending your time worrying what the detractors say, spend your time with people who accept you for who you are.

    No, of course not, it's just another detail about you. Like having blue eyes or dark hair. If anyone mistreats you for this just ignore them. Spend time with people who accept you for who you are and don't ever feel bad about it :slight_smile:
