Do you mean inadvertently, as in, we asked them out because we didn't know they were straight? Or intentionaly, as in, we knew they were straight, and asked them out anyway?
Well I did. It was my first crush, I stupidly-thought he was gay because he went to our GSA club. lol When I asked him out it was kinda how I came out to the school. *whoops*
I have, but it wasn't my fault lol She said that she was bi and I had seen her making out with girls at a gay bar we had gone to many times. I asked her and she said she just likes to mess around with girls, not actually date them.
No. I've never told anyone I liked them, or that I wanted to go out with them. People have told me I'm cute or handsome, but beside one girl asking me out (and freaking me out) I have never dated anyone. I wanted to tell one of my crushes how I felt about him, but I decided against it feeling that it would only do more harm then good. I spent many hours laying in bed analyzing every action he took to figure out if he liked me or not. I generally feel like telling someone how you feel about them even though you know they're straight is just useless. Nothing can really come of it if they are straight.
If you mean of the same gender, then no. Not even anyone gay...besides I'd be much to scared. What if they said no!? I'd die of embarrassment!
I can say that pretty much 99% of guys I say they are hot are straight for some reason. I seem to never hit on guys that are gay. I can only think that they are too many straight guys that's why when I go to a store like Walmart or Target, etc they are all straight. I know there are gays people too but seems like everyone I hit on are straight. Kinda sucks.
I haven't but I think I might in the future. I know people who got a positive response when they tried. Where I live, very few people, if any at all are out. You never know who could be putting on a straight facade.
For a friendly lunch or something, sure. I've had a couple of straight female crushes, but I'm too much of a wuss to actually ask them out, so I just tell myself that I already know the answer whenever I feel that urge.
