What age did you find out you were gay/lesbian?

I knew at 14 but then locked myself into the closet until I was 33.

 

I knew before I was 10

I would definitely say I figured it out FIRST around 5-6th grade. So about 11-12 years old.
Now I finally started accepting myself in the summer before 8th grade. (14/15 years old, my bday is during summer)

 

First realised I might be when I was about 14, stopped myself thinking about for a couple of years, came up again when I was 16, now a year and a half after that, I'm pretty close to properly accepting myself.

 

I was 5 years old.

 

Well, bi/pansexual, but I suppose that counts. I was 12.

 

I knew for sure at 20, though I went through a questioning phase at 15-16.

 

Well, it kinda depends what you mean by know. I question started when I was 10, but I put it out of my mind, because it was too upsetting. The first time I actually admitted to myself though, I was 13.

 

In a weird twist, I found out I was straight just several months back.

 

I watched Flashdance when I was 13 and I remember watching it over and over again, especially the bits with the beautiful women. So looking back I would say 13...

Or at 19 when I dumped the last actual 'boyfriend' I had because that wasn't working for me.

But there were lots of moments of denial and acceptance and denial again along the way...

It's only really been the last year that I've started any coming out other than online and only in the last 5 months that I've been 100% honest with myself about my sexuality.

 

I've always known I liked guys. Even when I was little watching Pokemon when there were only 150 pokemon...I like guys. (I crushed on Ash as a kid)

 

I would say around age 8. I definitely liked other boys in elementary school.

 

I was 12, I'm bisexual though.

 

I guess when I was about 14. Before that I didn't know or think about sex too much, but I had been obsessed with seeing men naked. At first I thought it was just me wondering about my own development and wanting to compare, but it became clear that I was attracted when I was 14, or so.

 

Can't remember when I found out but I knew for sure when I had my first bf (16).

 

well, i suppose i knew i liked other guys at around 13 0r 14 but i still actually thought of myself as straight and sort of just repressed them, so i put 15 because that's when i actually admitted to myself i was gay

 

I never found out I was gay or a lesbian. I did find out I was bi just a few months ago, though.
