Hi there, :smilewave I stumbled upon this forum looking for drag communities/forums online (to no avail so far, discounting inactive ones) and figured I might as well try here. I've recently gotten into drag and, not having a drag mother, would love to have some people to talk to, ask for advice etc. And before the non-queens feel shunned: I'm sure you're awesome! Have some sparkles. (*hug*) - Matt
Thanks for your replies and the welcome. If I did want to pose any questions regarding techniques etc, would this be the right forum for it or another one?
Mostly visual stuff (padding etc.). I've got plenty of theatre experience so (for now) I should be fine on the performance front. Also I should note that I don't have any burning questions right now. It's just that having taken up a new hobby, it's always good to have people with whom to chat about it.
I have some friends that are drag queens. I'm no where near as sexy or glamorous as a lot of them, but I have some similar experience myself, as I'm sure a lot of the other male-to-female transitioners here do. Just to give you a wider net. Really basic stuff like gaffes, make-up, chicken cutlets, I can help with. It'd feel good giving back since I usually turn to the drag side of the umbrella for tips anyway I am NO drag mother mind, but I have one myself and don't mind passing stuff on
