Aside from your own orientation which sexual orientation do you feel you empathize with the most?

I'm confused, could you be a little more specific?

So aside from my own, which do I feel most fits me? Impossible to say, really. I relate to gays because I know what's going on with them, but I also relate to straight guys just fine. I voted bi :astonished:

  4. I did not vote yet because I am not sure what you are asking - I run into this a lot - you said aside from my own

so, I relate mostly to those of my own orientation anyway so the poll is who do I then relate to second?

because it splits apart actually (we needed an other option I think)

I think I sorta get it the question. I honestly feel like I can get other sexualities beside mine and like imagine it and stuff. I think in general I'm one who can kinda put myself in certain other situations/perspectives and stuff and figure out what's something's like. Of course, I'm not saying I can totally 100% know what it's like, that'd be ignorant and I know I can't fully relate, but yeah.

Apart from being pansexual, I'd have to say I relate most to asexuality. Out of curiosity, why differentiate on gender for the gay option, but not on the other two?

I can relate to lesbians because they like girls and they are girls, while I like girls and sometimes feel like a girl myself.

    None of the options...?

I can understand them though, the lack of attraction to a certain group of people, or the opposite of asexuality.

I relate to bisexuals since I thought I was bi' for many years. What prompted you to ask the question? You must have a reason for asking.

I don't understand. All four aren't that different from each other to me.

I relate to gay people ... open and friendly ones. I relate to straight people ... open and friendly ones. I don't know too many lesbians, personally, so I can't make a good call (I just know terms like butch, soft butch, and lipstick), but not much else. I answered bisexuals. Why? Of the people I've met, who I have good reason to think are bisexual, or actually know they are, they have generally been the friendliest, see more points of view, and don't take themselves too seriously. There's no sense in debating whether this is "true" or not. This has just been my experience.

I don't understand. I voted lesbians because I can relate with liking somone of the same gender and them being straight, etc. I know it can apply for Bisexual people as well, but they are attracted to males AND females.

I voted for bisexual because even though I'm asexual, I think that people of any gender can be aesthetically pleasing. I guess bisexuality would be like that, but with sexual attraction thrown in.
