Nope, that's fine; go ahead! If you're promoting it on other forums, though, it might be good to include a note saying that one must have a different username here.
Yeah, I've told people about EC on other forums and chat rooms and IRL. Now I'm unaware if they actually went and made an account, but a lot of 'em have told me thanks for letting them know that there's an online community like this one out on the net
