It's good that you have a community to come home to and feel safe in, but when school is a place you're desperate to get away from, it makes life very difficult. I don't know how old you are so I don't know how many more years of school you have left, but I'm assuming you're in the early years of high school? Anyway, whatever the case, I would recommend you try and work out a way to make school somewhat more pleasurable. That may not be plausible of course; if so, it's gonna be a tough few years.

Even though online communities can be very beneficial, I still feel (and some don't, some are happy with just the online thing) that real life, in person connections are much more important and they allow for such wonderful experiences.

I've actually been presuming a lot about your life based on a relatively small post :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: If I've been barking up the wrong tree and you're happy at school, ignore this post. If not, feel free to message me if you want about working on being happier in school (something I've gone through myself).

    You're welcome, Miko

And I agree with Sohodreamer - it would be good if you can make your school life better. I think you said you are going to a better school next year. But the school you are at now needs to be made a nice experience right now!.

Maybe members of EC will have some advice for you

I'm glad you feel safe here.

You should use this place as a retreat for as long as you need to. But... never forget that you have to face the outside world too. You can't relay on this community for all your support needs.

I enter the EC to reduce the pain and the tense from school .
