I like butter pecan ice cream but gladly take vanilla over chocolate in most circumstances.

I fall in love with dark chocolate when my father would bring some back from Europe.

From then on, I began eating and experimenting on different chocolates with higher cocoa contents but I'm not one of those chocolate fiends who likes 99% percent cocoa, because at that point it tastes way too bitter. I think between 50 an 85% is the right proportion for chocolate to taste perfect.

As delicious as 85% cocoa is, you have to gradually build up to it, because it is an acquired taste, not something you can just insert in your mouth and instantly like. My father brought some chocolate that was on the sweeter end (less than 50%) cocoa, but still far stronger than your average chocolate bar. I'm sure I wouldn't have developed a liking for dark chocolate if he had given me anything above 50 or maybe even at 50% as that stuff can be too strong for a kid.

Now that I'm vegan, I really appreciate cocoa all the more, but ironically I like cocoa butter rather than soy in my chocolate. I've tried the soy stuff from the health stores, and the flavor is nothing compared to the stuff I can buy at non-vegan stores that sell vegan chocolates.

The 85% cocoa is also really healthy as its lodaed with antioxidants.

    Chocolate. By far.

Haha. I work through the chocolate and the strawberry, and might not make it through the vanilla, if eating from the carton. I know - that's not very refined.

The smell of vanilla irritates me. It's cute when it's a light scent, but the girls at my school fucking bathe in the shit, and it's terribly heavy and overwhelming, (it also messes with my pal's asthma) and it's gotten to the point where I just hate it.

I adore vanilla... in ice cream, vanilla flavored drinks, vanilla scented candles, body products, vanilla everything  there's just something so delicate and nice about it.

Chocolate! I like vanilla too, but I don't like it by itself. My favorite chocolate ice-cream is Moose Tracks. I also like chocolates like Hersey's that melt very nicely in my mouth. Oh, and chocolate with peanut butter is great too!

I like chocolate in small amounts. The smell of vanilla is heavenly to me though. Whenever I eat ice cream I always get vanilla with pieces of oreo smashed in.
