    Hey,

Since I have been identifying as genderqueer, I sometimes go by neutral adjectives (i.e They) generally around the LGBT stuff I am involved in. Anyway something has occured to me, whets the gender neutral version of sir/madam?

That I don't know. But in a lot of scifi they call everyone sir. I think the Mr/Ms term has been suggested as Mx but no one knows how to pronounce it.

And star trek. But yeah. Maybe there is a title that I don't know about, though.

The way it was introduced to me was "mixter", like "mister" but with the 's' replaced with an 'x', so that's how I've always pronounced.

As for a gender-neutral sir/madam, I haven't heard one myself. The closest I've heard is the word "gentlefolk" to add to "ladies and gentlemen".
