Ugh! I've been sick all day. I can't stop sneezing. And of course it's Thanksgiving here in the US. Last year on Thanksgiving I was sick, too. And the year before that, and the year before that. I don't remember a Thanksgiving where I was healthy. It's not always allergies, though. One year my stomach was really bothering me, another year I wasn't "sick" per se, but had horrible back pain and couldn't help cook at all. My mom made a joke that I must be allergic to Thanksgiving. Does this happen to anyone else, where you're sick or simply feeling miserable on a holiday every year?
normally I am just depressed October through Jan and into the point where the sun comes out again the holidays start it but last week I did actually get sick - had to go to the emergency room. not an allergy though I have no family since I came out.
