What would you name your children?

I would give my kids nice names...u know, simple names. Nothing they will get teased on in school

A guy who lived in my dorm swore he was going to name his first child "Schwa". The upside-down e that you see in pronounciation guides in dictionaries. Spelled just like that:



I doubt if he actually did, but we DID name our cat that.

I like the name Sean, and also Zara, but I'm DEFINITELY not having kids. Unless my partner REALLY wants them, of course

 

um if i ever have kids [ and i think two gay guys adopting a kid is cruelty to the children at least in these ages ] id call them

Okay so at work this is one of the things I was talking about. Xept being me I wanted to secretly name them all after pokemon. So like:

Charles Mander (Charmander)
Venus Aura (Venusaur)
Cliff Aeries (Cliffairy)

It was a while ago and that's the only three I can remember.

But I kinda like having the idea of twins (boy and girl) ...and calling them King and Queen
Because my last name sorta fits King and Queen .

Samuel Hephaestion "my husband's last name" [After Samuel, my middle name, and Hephaestion, lover of Alexander the Great]
Elizabeth Isabella "my husband's last name" [After Queen Elizabeth the 1st and Queen Isabella of Castille]
Gabrielle Dagny "my husband's last name" [After Archangle Gabriel and Dagny Taggart, the protagonist of "Atlas Shrugged"]

Prudence eh? Don't be surprised too if one of my kids is named after an ATU character.
Also come to think of it I'd like to name my kids after my brothers too

I'm having alot of kids. HAhahahaa

 

Hmm... I'd only have kids if my partner had them, or if I adopted, so I doubt I'd have the liberty of naming them anyway.

Still.. If I could choose names, Stan, Kyle and Kenny are pretty good names (South Park much?), not to mention Matt and Trey.

Mia's also a pretty fine name, but I can imagine my partner to be called that... hmmm... this is hard..

Japanese names are pretty sweet too :roflmao: So I can adopt a Japanese kid or... adopt a non-Japanese baby and just give it a Japanese name :roflmao:

Sadie (my wonderful dog)
Rabia (a prior teacher)

The boys would probably be left up to my other half to name lol, but hopefully Joseph will make it in there somewhere (after my father).

I'm totally the same. I never want kids, but I'd love to name a few :lol: I'd also give them a ton of middle names!

I personally quite like the name Franco for a boy, and Daniel or Daniela. Zane and Will have always appealed to me, as has Jazmin and Ana-Marija.
