If you were on a pride float, how would you decorate yourself AND the float? Personally id just stand there in a rainbow dress (complete with huge rainbow wings) rainbow streaks in my hair and rainbow cheek paint, wiving a huge pride flag. As for the actual float? Decorated like me. Rainbows EVERYWHERE and a big sign with my anti-discrimination groups name xD

Re: what is your dream gay pride float? I'm sorry to be a pain, but could we maybe call it 'pride'? 'Gay pride' is really erasive unless you're referring only to gay folks (which pride parades aren't)!
One that won't exist because we won't need them anymore. In the mean time one that raises transgender awareness.
It'd be all black with neon trans* colors with rainbow balloons, dancers and a lot of music and pride..
One that shows LGBT people doing everyday things like paying bills, doing laundry, walking the dog, etc. to discourage the differences and display our similarities to the "normal" masses. That said, I've never been to a pride parade. And I feel LGBT acceptance is gaining in its commonness since just the last year or so, which means that my idea could possibly be antiquated by the time the next pride season rolls around.
