Hi! I am a competitive runner who isn't half bad, and for my races, I want a "symbol" that I will wear at every race so that people can know me as "the fast girl with the rainbow ___". I am not "oficially" out, but quite a few people on my track team know that I'm gay, so it isn't that big of a deal if someone asks me why I'm wearing it. My ideas so far have been:

Rainbow knee socks or calve socks (I don't want them to be too outlandish)
    Rainbow scrunched
    Rainbow hair bow
    Rainbow hair ribbon type thing

I have an assigned uniform and sneakers, and I'm not allowed jewelry or wristbands. Out of these options, which do you find the most appropriate? I wanted to do the knee socks, but I feel as if that looks unprofessional. I want to look serious, but also capable of having fun.

    Thanks for reading!

The rainbow ribbon hair type thing would work.

You said assigned sneakers, but does that mean you cannot wear different colored laces in the sneakers, because they make rainbow shoe laces. If not, the hair tie thing should work.

^ that's actually a great idea! Haha I may use that! (I am allowed to change the laces)
