going to Australia and New Zealand in two weeks

    ok so for all the ausies (sorry if i butchered it) and kiwis out there im going down under in exactly two days time, im going to be in rotorua for 2 days, mt. hut for another 2, sydney for 2 nights, cairns for 2, south starsbroke island for another 2, and surfers paradise for the last 2 days. can you guys help tell me what there is to do after like 6 p.m. or so in these places as most of my day is taken up

    any tips would be great

    oh and by the way i was told that the peace and thumbs up sign are frowned upon down there, is that true?

    cool... well u've probably already left.

    but ur 18, surfers of a night time u will have no problem finding something to do..
    i live probably 30 mins from surfers, and thats the place that u go clubbing.
    if u can get into brisbane, there is a club that i go to alot, called 'the beat'
    pretty much walking in the door there is outing yourself. but its fun.

    But for the record it's pronounced "Ozzie" (Aussie) not Ossie. :slight_smile:

    Lol hmm I no my friends say in Sydney the best club to go to is Ark.. I think its on oxford st... I think haha but yea look it up, bets gay bar around.. allegedly

    As far as I know theres nothing wrong with the thumbs up or peace signs in New Zealand
