whats your "type"?

i dont really have a type, but as many may do i do check that i like the girl physically, after that is super important that is nice person and kind and nice to be around with, sometimes some girls are incredible beautiful but when they are sort of arrogant really takes the entusiams off those times

Still as simple of an answer I suppose. Always feel the need to point out that these aren't "requirements," though.



Physically: Bigger in some way. Muscles or fat. Just not skinny, basically.

And the more hair the better with guys. (head, face, body..)

Personality: "Sarcastic bastard" is a phrase I like to use. Alternatively or in addition, nerdy and not completely averse to having fun outdoors (although I'm not the type to be constantly outdoors, either - somewhere in the middle).

 

The complete opposite of this. Except maybe the outdoors bit, there's quite a lot of it, and quite a lot of fun to be had.

I think latinos are pretty hot.. and the kind of person I like, is one who is serious, but has a great sense of humor. Who is maybe a little clumsy and shy, but knows what he wants and when he wants it.

They're on pretty similar topics, but I'm pretty sure a "type" is a characteristic/characteristics your potential partner HAS to have for you to consider dating them, and that wasn't what the thread you linked to was going for. Just my two cents.

 

Funny, spontaneous, romantic, dominant, cute, fun, honest, talkative

 

I won't know until I meet him. I honestly have no idea how I want him to be and I'll just leave it at that rather than have ridiculous expectations that won't matter anyways. When i meet him he'll be perfect the way he is whatever way that might be.

 

Intelligent, mature, open-minded and easygoing.

THEN I'll look at the physical stuff. =p

 

Beautiful, curvy, soft, voluptuous, also packing a penis, ha ha.

 

Friendly, funny, and human. Physically I'm not too picky, but I do quite like the combo of black hair and blue or green eyes. I really like smiles.

I had to run out before I could actually answer the question.

For me, physically, a guy absolutely has to be chubby. I've literally never been attracted to a guy who didn't have at least some extra weight on him. I'm not someone who can be happy in a relationship where we don't at least get physical (tried it, not for me), and I can't get physical with someone who's not attractive to me at all.

Personality-wise, I've found I'm a lot less picky than I would have thought if I'd answered this question before I dated for the first time. I don't know that I have a definite personality "type" (although I do have a history of being attracted to mildly-aloof intellectual types, for better or worse). My one definite rule personality-wise (which I've learned through experience) is that I can't date someone who speaks mostly in sarcasm or troll-speak, or someone who puts on a façade. I can't date someone who has me constantly wondering whether I should take what they said at face value or not. I need someone who will be authentic around me, because that's what they're going to get from me, and I can't keep giving that if I'm not getting it.

 

I really don't have a type, but I have noticed the last few gals I dated before my wife were all curly haired, green eyed, and shorter than myself. So is my wife. LOL

Personality, can't be a party girl, must be somewhat introverted, I don't like to entertain at my house, but I will go to parties thrown by others for a bit. Also must be nerdy and funny. And smart. Talking nerdy and showing brains will get me hotter than anything else......

 

Physically - a healthy weight and hairy body (the hairier the better - not sure I have an upper limit on this bit). Although I can certainly appreciate a good looking smooth guy, a hairy chest (and arms, legs, shoulders, back, etc.) will definitely win the day, all else being equal (or even not being equal). However facial hair needs to be either shaved or neatly trimmed.

Personality-wise - Someone who can keep up. I have been told I can be a bit...intense. My best friend once described my management style as 'do it my way or I'll kill you'. And my sense of humor runs to the dry and snarky. If you can't hold your own and hit back credibly in those areas I'll simply steamroller right over you and that's boring.

Happily, my partner measures up in all of these areas
