    Mine aches too.

I chew gum all school day, every school day. I usually have trident layers or something fruity.

I would take anything but cinnamon.

Gum is awesome. Used to chew it all the time as a kid. Even after it lost its flavor, I'd keep chewing until my jaw hurt. I'll still have it now from time to time, but not as often.

Also, IIRC, it makes you hungry, because the chewing tricks your brain into thinking you're eating, but the body isn't actually getting any nourishment. Not sure why it'd make you have to use the bathroom though.

I'm addicted to it! If you read the packet though, it says why it makes you need the loo, and as far as the hunger goes - try drinking water at the same time.

Yep that's right, what happens is that when you eat, this triggers you to actually feel more hungry (until you're full, of course). The chewing of gum gives this same effect, but without the calories, so then you end up acutely feeling the hunger. As for the toilet thing, I don't know but maybe the same effect could apply to pooping? Or perhaps the excess of unused stomach fluids could trigger it? Good question, try googling it.

As for me, I like fruit-flavored bubblegum, and Kid's Crest bubblegum-flavored toothpaste with glitters in it. XD Makes tooth-brushing that much more fun.

Well, if it has sugar, you're essentially sticking it all over your teeth, and I think that increases risk of cavities and other issues.

Avoid it until you are older and your enamel is stronger. Basically, it's like keeping a bunch of sugar in your mouth for an hour at a time, and usually not brushing afterwards... =\ if you must have it, drink water with it and brush right after.

At uni, I'm the first point of call for anyone who wants some chewing gum. People must just associate me with always having chewing gum to hand. It's true though I do. I hate having aftertastes of food in my mouth after I've eaten. I'm always conscious that my breath my be bad or something.

Yeah, I like chewing it when I'm writing. I love menthol and mint so if I'm not chewing peppermint gum, I'm sucking peppermint candy. Only will go for mint gum- bubble and fruit tastes horrible.

I'd be chewing it all day if it didn't lose its flavor so quickly.
Most of the gum I've had the displeasure of chewing lost flavor within a minute.
Mint and peppermint are the best flavors. They don't lose flavor quite as easily (3 minutes if I'm lucky)

Bubblicious (auto correct tried making it bubble opus) was my favorite when I was younger. As soon as the flavor was gone I'd spit out the lifeless piece and chew a new one.

Xochipilli reminded me, I'm curious to know what y'all do with your gum when you're done. Do you swallow it or spit it out (hopefully, in a trash can)?

I swallow it, even before I knew that silly myth of it taking years to digest wasn't real. I just could never be bothered to go find a trash can, so swallowing was just easier.
