I was quite sad and upset for most of the day today because this morning down the street from where I live there was a dead raccoon on the street.
For the past month or so I have been feeding this mother and her cute little baby.
I thought the dead critter was the mother.
But just now at 10:30 at night I looked out back and they were both there.Whew!!
I realize that In the city I'm not supposed to feed raccoons but the little guy was just soo cute.critters 166.jpg

aw i was watching In The Land of Women where there was a racoon and i thought it was so cute. if they weren't so mean at times i would keep one as a pet ^_^

I know this is off-topic, but that first photo looks beautiful. It looks professional - like the raccoon was modeling. Ha. The colors and the lighting are perfect...

I've never actually seen a real live raccoon, funnily enough there aren't that many here in Dubai XD

Here's the Memorial that the people down the street made for the raccoon.

Raccoons are a big pest in Toronto.There's 1,000s of them.They live in peoples attics,under decks,up in trees everywhere. They mainly live by eating garbage.So there's a constant battle by home owners to get rid of them.
The city at one time would capture them and keep them in a warehouse until the spring when they would release them in the wilds.
Here's a picture of the device an Anti-Raccoon Company put on the house next door where my raccoons used to live. The raccoon can get out of his den but he can't get back in.That cost $300.HP Misc. June 2008 033.jpg

Oh gosh, that's horrible! Poor raccoons! We don't really have any pest animals around here except for maybe skunks now and then.

racoons r mean, they always come up on my back porch at my dads house and when i go to walk outside they go all monstertard and start attackin the door so i got to go out the other door and chase em off with brooms and other crap but im scared to hurt one cuz then ill feel bad and i wont be able to sleep for like a fwe days. I LOVE ANIMALS! except for frogs.
