People who sport a thong tan line are usually more promiscuous than average, or they wouldn't go through that type of trouble. I would have trouble wearing a speedo, so a thong is out of the question. Some places can also ticket you for one. They were once controversial in parts of Florida.

Some conservative parts of Florida used to have this, and the crackdown may be gone. Essentially, buttocks are on display. Also, when you're changing and you see someone with a thong tan line, as opposed to a speedo tan line, these people tend be more on display, if you know what I mean. It's so over the top that it becomes less sexy.

 

But... buttocks are hot. And, more to the point, what business is it of the state? And since when is promiscuity a bad thing?

 

That's not something I've ever enjoyed seeing a man wearing. I just say if you're going to show it off, why are you still wearing clothes?

 

The only thong I'll wear is an EC thong.

 

Well...the whole purpose of thongs, lingerie, etc. (those wonderful pieces of clothing that reveal as much as they conceal) is to allow one to heighten the anticipation and induce a little more excitement by taking a little detour to the final destination.

Meh, it's underwear. Tried it on myself, and didn't quite see the appeal or difference between that and other undergarments. I agree with Awesomgaythiest, though. If you're gonna show off, why are you wearing anything, anyway?

Some states make it very clear what they consider nudity. It's beyond the scope of what I pay much attention to. But showing genitalia, buttocks, and the beginnings of the aureola on a woman are often the definition.

 

I have a serious problem with that kind of law.

 

In Texas, you can show your buttocks but the catch is you can't show your anus in public, according to the relevant state statute. So a thong should probably be legal.

 

I think thongs are lingerie that are kinda sexy on girls--well depending on how she wears it. If I were to have sex with a girl and she's stripping down wearing one, then I'll think it's sexy. Like I was with someone once and she was wearing one (my hand accidentally got down there) and I got turned on. But if I'm told by a girl that she's wearing one, then it's a turn off.

If you're talking about flip-flop 'thongs', then they're cool. I prefer not wearing them when it's warm outside, but I do because I don't like to wear shoes in the summer. I'd go barefoot anywhere if I had the choice, but thongs are close enough to being barefoot.
