Ever feel like you have no friends?

Me too! We can start a club.. Hmm clubs = friendships...

I've nearly faded away from my high school ones. So, yes.

I always feel like I've no friends and no one understands me. But I think that's because I don't really want to open myself to other people.

 

All the time. Sometimes I think I have friends, but frankly it's hard to tell. They don't really talk to me. They throw a lot of parties, I've never been invited of course. I don't really mind, they tolerate my ramblings, which is more than most people do, so I would never hold anything against them.

Yes all the time. The few friends I have I feel like don't actually care about me, or care to do stuff.

 

Yes, I feel like it because it's true.

 

Aww, but I know the feeling. It's been a while since I hung out with anyone.

Yup. Have a bunch of people I'm "friends" with at school, but not true/good friends. Oh well.

 

I can't ever say I ever had NO friends, or felt that way. That said, at many points in my life, it did seem like most people had a lot more friends than I did, and/or that they seemed to be a lot closer to a lot more people than I did. Like, if I were given two tickets to some event, I didn't have a very long list of people I felt I could ask. But that just sort of motivated to work on extending the list.

A reasonable thing to say. But...it can be a lot easier said than done for many of us. One of my goals for 2013 was to increase the number of local friends. As I whined, er, said a few months ago, my local list is about zero. Months later, going into 2014, and I'm still about the same point.:tears: Only area I'm in better shape is that I am acquainted with one person who might or might not become a friend (but not likely a close one). I have a group that might result in meeting people. But nothing guaranteed for 2014.

 

I only have a few close friends. I have tons and tons and tons of friends that just like my humor and want to be around me. That said, so many people on campus recognize me and are like, "Hey man, how've you been? Tell the slut joke again!" and I'm like, "Who the hell are you?"

Yup. I've lived in four states in the past year. I don't have a large social circle in college, and I don't know anyone when I'm home on breaks. I was never that popular to begin with, and I'm an introvert, so I really only hang out with myself. :/
