    We wouldn't have much choice. Any alien group that had mastered interstellar travel would be far more technologically advanced than us.

    Why wouldn't I? Wouldn't have much choice.

    Although, we don't even know if an alien lifeform meeting us would be recognisable, or whether there would be any shared basis of experiences with which we could understand and accommodate each other.

    For all we know, maybe an alien life form would naturally create environments that are detrimental to our survival, even if not meaning to be destructive. But they could possibly give us knowledge. What if they were observing us the entire time?

    Depends on their thoughts on social norms because Id be concerned what their society is like and then they would join us and I dont want bestiality all up here on earth if the aliens were into it assuming they are staying on earth for a while.

    I don't think aliens would have traveled millions of light years to have sex with our dogs personally. If they actually were though we could still have them follow our laws of not raping our dogs without being openly hostile other than jailing ones who did.

    Reminds me of the tv show "V" where the aliens supposedly came in peace and shared their technology with mankind while the queen alien secretly built an army and tried to take over the world. Maybe I watched too much tv, but I would still be skeptical of aliens, even if they were peaceful :lol:

    Depends how ugly they are. If they are giant monstrosities made of teeth and pain, I would probably shoot before they had a chance to name their intention. If they weren't terrifying enough to receive a bullet upon arrival and actually managed to make communication, then certainly. I'd even make peace with the scary ones if they spoke to me before I saw them... unless they look like Rush Limbaugh. That is too horrible to let live.
