Most of the U.S. is looking pretty dang cold... The weather channel is calling it an arctic outbreak lol.
Is anyone else affected by the cold?

Almost all the churches in my town canceled this morning, which never happens...Tomorrow I've got a wind chill of -45F, and I usually freak out if its below 10F  haha

I think I'll be spending the next few days cuddling up with movies and hot chocolate :icon_bigg

    How about you guys?

P.S; stay warm and safe everyone! and remember, cuddling is a great way to stay warm

It's supposed to start raining in an hour and then the temperature is going to drop rapidly and the rain will turn into snow. Tomorrow the high here is supposed to be 0. I'm originally from the West Coast and have never been in temperature that cold. I'm hoping and praying we get a snow day tomorrow and I can sit on my couch under a blanket with a fire in the fireplace all day.

I live in southwest Michigan, they're saying -40 wind chill, and the meijers in my area are getting their shelves emptied. Like seriously, the local supermarket had empty shelves. Everyone is hunkering down.

Current temp here in Montreal is -2 Deg C or 28 deg F, it's damp which makes the cold uncomfortable. I also have a cold, which makes it all the more miserable. For some reason my apartment is warmer when it's -27 deg C than it is now...frustrating.

No one wants to cuddle with someone who has a cold... :tears:

I'm looking out the window right now and the snow has really picked up in the last half hour. I'm glad I have four wheel drive

We're supposed to get 8-14 inches of snow here, and at 11:22 AM, we've gotten at least 3 inches so far, and it's really coming down.

Yes, but don't you all have to wrestle with giant poisonous spiders on your way to work or school?

Aw, being sick sucks! especially when its all cold... just find someone else who's already sick and cuddle together haha xD

Actually NO. No snow this year, and it's been between 0° and 6°C the whole December and January. The coldest it's been where I live was probably -8°C. I like the cold, -15°C is great if you dress properly. I would've liked to go wandering in the woods with a thermos full of tea / hot chocolate and just enjoy the warmth of the drink while admiring the sunset over a forest

We are supposed to get another 4 to six inches of snow and sub zero temps. I'm glad I don't need to get out right now.

Where I live it's been below 0°C only once this winter, so far. Glad it's not colder, I hate it.

I was born in North Dakota, so I can appreciate how great it is that it ISNT cold here. Sadly I've adjusted to the new climate and if it dips below 65°F, I need to put on a sweater :frowning2:

Supposed to be in like the 10s tomorrow and Tuesday here. Not as cold as other places, but that's pretty unusual for where I live. Usually just bobs up and down between 40-60 all winter (with some 20-30 days in Jan./Feb.).

Isn't Australia getting like, record high temperatures or something this summer?

Not TOO cold. It's been a steady 10-20F here over the past couple months at night though. The daytime's been better, luckily. We're not on the east coast. xD

Couple of weeks ago, it was like 20F at 2 PM in the afternoon. For anywhere in California, that's crazy. ._.

And yet, we never get snow.

I just took a look at the forecast, and we've been "upgraded" to 15-20" of snow.
