Let me first state that i do NOT want any fighting with me on this. I do not want to be told i am dumb for my belief in God. I do however want to ask, are there other Christians on here too? I cant possibly be the only person who is a Christian, who is also bi/gay.

    Nope
I was christian. But events in the past have led me to fear religion (not in a divine way).
And just to be clear: you will most likely never encounter someone who will fight you because of your belief. Even if someone does, you wont see the post for long before it's deleted. This is a safe community where support is provided and friendships are made

i do believe in god and the angels, i pray every day to them, yet i dont consider myself from any religion, but ya know i was admin a chat forum before where there were christian girls, they were lesbian and got inside there for help and advice, so you are not the only one, cause mostly people who are in a line of religion they follow a tradition, yet i think is perfectly fine that a persona be gay or bi and belong to any religion they want to, god is love equal for everyone, and ps. i hope also no one defies my beliefs cause usually this threads cause fights, yet i dont like to argue with woman, unless is romantic argue xD

I don't personally believe in a god, but I won't give you any kind of trouble for what you believe

Hopefully you find a few fellow Christians to have a chat with today.

Agreed. I'm sure you can find other members who are Christian too.

There are LGBT folks who have reconciled their sexuality with their religion. I remember watching on the news these two guys who are in a relationship and raising kids. Both identified as Christian of some denomination. They also were encouraging Minnesotan lawmakers to vote "no" on a state constitutional amendment that would have banned same-sex marriage.

I was raised Catholic but currently identify as agnostic, as I found that that religion wasn't right for me. Who knows, maybe I'll find some religion that interests me some day.

Moral of the story: You're not alone

I'm Catholic, and I took a long and contorted way to accepting my sexuality; though, somehow I still kept attending Mass every single Sunday. I can't believe that when I was 12 or 13, I was so ashamed of myself for masturbating (to straight porn!) that I would pray really hard to stop having any sexual feelings. Needless to say, having gay attractions almost made me implode.

Gay Episcopalian Christian here. I don't think that believing in God is stupid. I also don't believe that being gay renders you incompatible with religion. I put science first and foremost, and I try not to mix science with religion, but I don't see any problems with being a rational 21st century person who also has faith.

There are several gay Christians on here, and you're not alone.

There's lots of gay Christians, they just don't tend to advertise themselves because Christianity as a whole still hasn't gotten over its homophobic phase.

Of course you're not alone! But like Mugget said, we tend not to advertise ourselves, partly because Christians in general tend to hold somewhat anti-gay views, partly because the gay community sees us as traitors. In other words, we're caught between the tree and the bark.

However, I assure you that you will find plenty of gay Christians on this site and on others. Depending on where you live, you may very well come across some in real life, too!
