Do you take longer in showers

I take a long showers now i know why I'm lonely

 

Hmm...haven't heard of this before that I remember but I do tend to take longer showers because I enjoy them and lose track of time, haha.

I take them, but not for loneliness, at least as a conscious reason. Who knows...

 

I'm lonely and I take showers, not sure if one is a result of another. I desperately need a relationship lol.

 

I definitely do take long. I am quite lonely...
but I think it's more because I can't stop singing

No, that's not why people take long showers. Showers are the only place where people aren't introduced to technology and their brain is given a chance to relax. People take long showers because it feels good to escape the modern world and let yourself be yourself. The world is progressing too fast.

 

I'm not sure as to the clinical accuracy of that statement, but I can imagine that some folks do take longer showers and take the time to appreciate the warm feeling.
Naturally, you can't blanket-statement everybody who takes long showers though.

I take "long" showers but I'm not lonely.

Something else: What is a "long" shower?! The longest my shower lasts is 7-8 minutes.

 

I usually take long showers for 2 reasons: 1) singing (my voice is crappy btw) or 2) verbally repeat cycles, processes, or diagrams from science classes. For instance, I had to memorize all the intermediates and molecules in the citric acid cycle for biochemistry. Why not use that shower time to study? I know, I am such a weirdo :lol:

 

1.) I like showers. So yes.
2.) If I'm not feeling well showers work well as a decongestant and headache relief.

Not because im lonely. But then it's a comforting warm feeling so I can see why it's appealing.

 

I take long anythings; showers, walks, naps. Am I alone during these activities? Yes. Do I feel lonely during them? Not so much. But I am a lonely person. I guess I just like getting squeaky clean.

 

Not really. I stay in the shower because the hot water is just so relaxing.

No. I just want to get in, get out, you know? :lol: But I do confess to spending loads of time standing at my bathroom counter, once dressed, looking at my iPod...

 

I take long baths, not-that-long showers. And I wouldn't say I'm lonely - just really like my alone time.

I'm not lonely. I just have difficulties washing long hair.

I do sometimes, I am lonely but I don't think that's the reason. But I voted that option anyway cause that's honestly adorable ;-; and tragic kinda.

Anyways I mostly do it when I get deep in thought and kind of just stand there and contemplate the world for 30 minutes. Normally I'm not in that long, and usually take longer to dry than I do to actually shower cause I absolutely can't stand any part of my clothes feeling wet. But yeah at the right moment showering is the most relaxing perfect blissful feeling ever so I stay in there forever. Or if I'm really exhausted sometimes just fall over and sleep pathetically

 

I shower for ages when I'm sad

 

I can take a shower in 3-4 minutes if I need to, but I usually take longer, 15-20 minute, hot water showers. It's mostly because I apply acne medicine while in the shower and that takes time. Plus, having the radio on makes it relaxing.

I really don't think I take long showers because I am lonely.
