What are your favorite types/species of seafood to eat?

    I love:
    • Halibut
    • Catfish (fried)
    • Shrimp
    • Dover sole
    • Scallops (U-10 are the best)
    • Cod
    • Rainbow Trout
    • Flounder
    • Chilean sea bass (expensive and a bit threatened, but once in a while is fine)
    • Shark and tuna steak are nice, but easy to overcook

Not a fan of suchi, though. And salmon is a bit too "fishy." I prefer more "fresh-smelling" fish.

I love Tilapia Imperial from Bonefish Grill, a chain restaurant that specializes in seafood. It's tilapia stuffed with crab meat, scallops, and cheese. Soooo tasty :icon_bigg The food at this restaurant is on the expensive side, so I seldom go there.

I only like salmon if it's wild, not farm-raised, because the wild one is less fatty. Farm-raised has a strong taste and is really oily, so it becomes overwhelming for me.

When done right, fried calamari is a treat. I've eaten this dish at some restaurants where they overcook it, so it becomes gummy. Overcooked calamari is not pleasant to eat.

I love ALL seafood. Especially crab, sushi, shrimp, scallops, catfish, crappie, my Dad's smoked salmon pate, and his smoked trout.

Sushi, smoked salmon, fresh salmon, canned smoked oysters & mussels, tuna casserole, fried sole. I also like shrimp but I don't usually eat it, unless they come from a place I trust (like Matane shrimps, but they are very pricey).

I use canned salmon in cooking, too.

    I love any seafood.

But scallops and Maine (New England rather) are the best by far. Living on MA coast I'm spoiled.

I'd give up meat if I could always have seafood.

Love seafood. Cod, tuna, tilapia, and haddock are probably my favorite fish. But my favorite seafood over all is shrimp - in particular, coconut shrimp.

I'll eat just about any seafood, but I find it hard to beat a really good piece of fresh salmon!

Same here. I recently had the pleasure of eating salmon that was less than an hour out of the Pacific ocean and it was the best I have ever had. So good in fact, I may never have store bought salmon again as it cannot compare.

I do have a weakness for oysters on the half shell, scallops, tuna (raw and cooked) and king crab.

I don't mind some fish but in general I really hate seafood. Especially shellfish.

Imagine if lobsters lived on land, we wouldn't go near them let alone eat them.

I only eat sushi, it's my guilty pleasure. I eat vegetarian otherwise. I've never been a fan of sea food to be honest.

I haven't eaten fish in precisely one year 153 days. And I always hated it before then anyway.
