I heard Orlando has a more family friendly pride than Gaybor, St Pete etc. I was wondering which one is the cleanest because I'm trying to get my dad to be more accepting of the LGBT community and I think he'll be more open to it if there aren't greased up muscle men walking around in their underwear or dudes in leather chaps :lol:. Any floridians who have attended any of these parades? What did you think?
I can't say for Orlando, but yeah some prides do have a family friendly/kid friendly area within the festival grounds. The parade might be something you'd want to avoid with your dad, since thats where you're likely see some of the more crazy stuff like drag queens or leather dressed guys (again I can't say forsure with Orlando) Most prides also have a website, just do some google'ing for 'Orlando Pride' (and same for the other the other cities you mentioned)
