Valentine's Day

I was going to spend with with my (now ex) partner....it would have been the first Valentine's Day I had spent with anyone I truly loved and cared for.....but it looks like that's not going to happen this year.

So, it looks like a marathon day of Modern Family and gross pizza from the local pizzeria for me! (!)

 

If Nik has his Internet, I'm hoping we could do a movie night stream of some kind or just a Stickam night. Nothing too fancy or special.

 

Great question. Modern family sounds good. However I will just be hanging out with family. I do not have any plans. And hoping to possibly get a date on that day or another day. That Is all.

 

I've got nothing so i'm alone pretty much :icon_sad:

 

I've got him a nice present. That's all I'll say. He usually doesn't get me anything for Valentine's Day because my birthday is two weeks afterward.

 

Being alone sucks, it really does. But i'll be eating york bars and playing the legend of zelda or i might watch some anime i don't know.
Either way it will be uneventful.

 

Maybe like every other day. I don't worry so much about being alone.

I am going to be my own Valentine and do things for my own sake. (!)

 

Doing what i love with people from all over the midwest!

Making and playing beautiful music for people

Unless I'm incredibly lucky enough to find a boy/girlfriend, it's looking like another night of playing guitar and bad movies.

Least the candy'll be discounted.

Not to be a downer, but Valentine's Day is overrated in my opinion. I'm almost always single when the time comes, and have never celebrated it either way, even when I was in a relationship. I just feel like you should spoil/love/appreciate the person you're with EVERY DAY, not just on ONE day, just because "everybody's doing it"

Maybe I'm too cynical but that's how I feel about it

 

I agree with you, love/care/appreciation of your friends/family/crush shouldn't be limited to a day. Valentines gives us the opportunity and reminds us (if we can't do it for whatever reason) to express our love now because you don't know what will happen in the future. (&&&)

February 14th? That's when I have an assignment due.

My elementary friends are organizing an outing for us who are single this 14th day. I wonder where it will be.

I'm single so I've got the Valentine's Day bahum bug. Lol

Every year its the same anoying thing with happy couples every....

Might have fallen for some one recently but don't know them very well yet.
I am suppose to play n a dnd campaign with this person, and I just meet the person.

That's odd for some one like me it usually takes forever for me to open up to people,
But we hit it off like we knew each other forever.

I'm lonely for romance, but every year I have to watch people celebrate this holiday,
All alone.

I hope my luck changes.

 

It's just normal friday for me, so I'll probably go out with my single friends.

 

I will be tired and sleepy. I will have just gotten off my night shift at my job that morning, so I will probably feel much more cynical about Valentine's day this year and won't do anything but complain and whine and cry... *sigh*

 

To do something special on valentine's day, I'd need to have someone special. Unless I meet the girl of my dreams in the next 10 days. And that's very very unlikely.
