Never arrested. I've been detained before for suspicion of underage drinking. I wasn't drinking (ahem, not to say I wasn't doing anything naughty). After my group of friends all blew 0.00 we were sent on our merry way.

Not arrested, but have had an officer break my glass pipe and confiscate my stash a while ago. Jerkwad probably just wanted to smoke it himself:dry:

Other than getting a speeding ticket, nope. I have been to prison, but it was for a class trip in college.

This one time my father had faulty indicator lights on his car and we were stopped. The Police separated us, they questioned him in their car and a Police Officer questioned me. Perhaps they thought he was kidnapping me? He got away with a warning. I was a kid and I felt absolutely horrible. That's the closest.

The thought of being in a jail cell is one of my worst nightmares. I get claustrophobic/stir crazy and wouldn't survive.

However, I've had 2 speeding tickets and a few warnings. #oops.

Does lots of parking tickets and a small court session count?

I've been cuffed and sat in the back of a police car (not comfortable), but nope, not yet.

Worst I've gotten is ticketed for an accident I got into where the other car didn't have so much as a scratch but my car was totaled and I had to pay a $150 fine.... You figure that one out cause I'm still puzzled...

    Yes.

Spent a week in jail, but the charges were dropped. While I'll never get those 6 1/2 days back, I was able to experience something on 'the other side', that some will not.

The jails around here tend to be group areas, and not condensed down to 2-3 inmates per a cell. This is a lot cheaper to maintain, and can hold up to about 15-25 individuals. Sadly, not everybody gets a cot, and some have to sleep on a mattress on the floor.

The politics behinds bars is interesting, and not as savage as the media would lead you to believe. Of course, this is jail and not a prison, where there is some hope and a beneficial goal to good behavior, as opposed to the latter, where hope is abandoned and you serve your time almost regardless. If you aren't an asshole or come off as a cry baby, you'll be fine, because the former get humbled and alienated, while the latter are poked fun at and used to run errands, almost like a servant of sorts.

Thankfully, my charges were dropped. I hope to use this experience in my criminal justice career, since many legal authority, often times, only experience the law on the 'winning' side.

Yes, but I will not tell why. And the charges were dropped.
