With majority are you member of? And with minority?

I'll start with the obvious minorities I'm in, which would be being gay, transgender, and athiest. I do crossdress. In anime culture, I'm a huge supporter of yaoi and I support any relationship that doesn't contradict what's canon. I've been in geek culture all my life, and have identified myself as one. I'm 5' 6.5" So I have no idea where that would put me. I'm shorter than most of my friends.

But I suppose everyone has the freedom to hate me because I'm white, middle-class and have a penis.

 

Hope this doesn't turn into an "Oppression Olympics" event, but I'll play .

It's a bit hard on some because a majority in one place can be a minority in another withing the same country (especially one as big as the United States) and also whether we define minority by social disadvantages or numerically. I mostly use the numerical way for these.

Not interested in intimacy
Don't have a social life

I think that's about what's evident. Of course, I require basic sustenance, i.e. air, food and water, which puts me in the majority, right?

Minority: I'm a racial minority, I'm left-handed, I'm lgbt, I'm not interested in sexual talk, I'm a lot less sexual than most I've come across in general, I'm not interested in porn(thanks @Lawrence), my music taste I would say is pretty weird, I'm not macho but also not fem, I've somehow kept a more youthful appearance despite everyone I know looking more mature/their age, despite not being as on the fem side I find it easier making girl friends, I'm not really religious, I don't care for taking pics, I'm not a drinker/smoker, blah blah blah...

Majority: I'm male(in regards to society?), I'm lgbt on this site, cis-gender

 

I have a lot of clothes. I think it's okay because I haven't exceeded 5 pairs of shoes!

Majority - European! I'm white in a predominantly white area. I'm a big fan of (cups of) tea and yes it is common here. Gamer... becoming ever more common here! Vodka fan. I was raised by Christians. I love Horror movies. I listen to Lady Gaga and some other popular music. I'm good with computers.

Minority - I'm a metalhead. Anime fan. My mental disorder. I'm 5'5". I don't enjoy Metallica. I freaking love Swedish Death Metal. My spiritual beliefs are unusual. I'm a sadist. I don't enjoy porn. I run a pretty fast mile. I eat fries like twice per year WITH salt! I also don't use a cell phone.

 

Minority: I'm gay, I'm an atheist, I'm very sensitive and emotional for a man (frowned upon in The United States), I'm a nerd (I like Dungeons and Dragons and such), I hate sports, I don't like drinking that often, I prefer reading to watching movies or tv (seems to be the minority again in the United States), I'm very short (5'4), I hold a Bachelor's Degree, I'm an old fashioned guy who wants to find true love and not a random hook up


Majority: I'm Caucasian, Right-handed, I'm bipolar, Middle Class, I'm weird (here in Portland that IS the majority folks hehe), I have brown hair, I have a job

 

Going with who has more power in society, you can say being male is...ha.

 

That was the same reason why I put being "male" in the majority category.

 

Minorities: Atheist, love of abstract art, non-straight, teetotal, mixed natural hair colour, anti-Monarchist, I can start and stop smoking tobacco without getting addicted, fluent in three different languages, never had a partner/sexual contact with anyone, educated at a fee paying school and a supporter of Green politics.
Majorities: Come from non-divorced parents, white person from Europe, travel in a car, lover of music and gaming and coffee addict.

- Love tennis (suuuuch an under-appreciated sport; I'd rather have that be playing on ESPN than boring-as-fuck football)
- I can't stand professional porn. Amateur is where its at
- I can't stand Katy Perry and Carrie Underwood (they're not as high on the annoyance level as JB, but still....)
