Well, apparently it has been decided that outlawing gay marriage would be UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
That is a MAJOR step.
Because if something's unconstitutional...well, it ain't gonna make it through!
So it looks pretty promising that Cali will forevermore offer gay marriage as an option.
There are, however, many protests, especially in my county (the most close-minded county in the state) where the marriage office (crap, can't remember the real name of it) has refused to do any marriages now--they only give out licenses.
So it's going to be a bitter fight to the end...but it looks like Cali will allow gay marriage because of our rights!
YAY! GO SUPREME/SUPERIOR (crap, forgot the right name AGAIN...I'm so forgetful right now) COURT!

My mom and dad are pissed off at everyone here who is closed-minded

And it's really funny because they don't even know I'm gay!
Everyone we know is for it, but everyone else is opposed...we don't know that many people

But I think it will eventually work out.

I'm from Chico, and I think it's pretty open-minded. Maybe because it's a college town. I'm so glad to be coming back for a visit in a couple of weeks.

Good for California! As one of the largest populated states, I'm sure the other states will all be following. It will eventually make it to the Supreme Court and most states that don't recognize gay marriage will pretty much be "forced" to do so. Just my little opinion.
