The girl who kissed me on friday thinks she might be polyamorous and she is entirely convinced she is in love with some other guy, but I know I felt something there when her lips were pressed against mine...

    That's a tough one.

It'll have to just come down to how you feel personally. If you aren't okay with the idea of sharing than don't. You deserve to be just as happy as anyone else does, so do what you think would be best for you ^^

Is there really such a thing? Not sure if there is. Sounds like a poor attempt at a clinical word for "slut".

It's difficult to say. It would depend on how I felt for the individual and how well we interact/connect together.

If that strong bond just isn't there, I likely wouldn't date anyone polyamorous or not.

No I wouldn't, but I'm fine with it if it works for others.

No. If I'm not enough for them, then bye.

As far as them being in love with multiple people: no. However, I would consider dating someone, but letting them sleep with other people (obviously with some rules).

I would never be interested in a polyamorous relationship myself; however, this is an extremely inappropriate and insensitive comment. You might not feel comfortable with having this certain type of dynamic in your relationship, but being polyamorous is not synonymous with being a "slut". Regardless of whether you disagree, this is a support forum and shaming the desires of others is not acceptable.

No. I like stability, both emotional and in other ways, and I like my own life to be moderately traditional.

No thanks; it's one of the things I personally don't think I could handle.

This is pretty much where I stand. I don't think I could deal with dating someone who loves someone else too, but if it's just sex I wouldn't really mind.
