After a bunch of applications filled out, and what was starting to feel like a hopeless endeavor...I have an interview! Haha I know it's not guaranteed I'll have a job, but I'm just happy to get this far. If things work out I can finally start putting together my life pieces and make some positive changes in my life. Admittedly it isn't my favored place to work, but they pay pretty good and I'm in no position to be picky. YAY! I'm glad things are looking to be going my way for a change ^^
Yay I'm a bit worried though. I have a car when I get my license issues dealt with. So until then I have to rely on others for a ride. If I get the nightshift here I can hitch a ride with my brother until I get everything else resolved though. I'm just nervous about getting to the interview. I need to find a ride, and I need to find it as soon as possible. I miss having my own car...so much -.-'
Congratulations on the interview! Hope it goes well for you. If you are having troubles finding a ride, maybe try using public transportation, if it is available - might cut down a bit on the worries just before an interview.
I might have a ride. I just have to sift through everyone I know. If I get the ride there I'll be set. I know I have a car in the works, it'll just take maybe 1-2 weeks tops.
Urgh, I know this feeling (my car died recently)... I'm not sure where you are in Columbus, but COTA may be a good option. It just depends on where you are and where you are going.
I'm not actually in Columbus. That's just the closest major city. I'm a small town 2 hours away from Columbus xD
Ahh, that does make it harder then... I'm lucky enough to be in northern Ohio, where they have some semi-decent public transportation. My hometown does not have any at all (It's closer to Columbus). You could look up taxi's if worse comes to worse.
True I suppose. I think I'll find a way. I've just got to use my brain. I have my brother working on it too. So between the two of use we'll find one person free tomorrow for a ride. Then it's just fingers crossed
