Please list your favorite road trip snacks...

Hmm, I usually just sleep since I get very motion sick but when I'm awake I eat croissants and have tea or water.

 

Ritz crackers and Cheese Whiz. We also got Vienna Sausages in the tin, a loaf of bread and sodas. That would be lunch until we pulled in to a real restaurant for supper.

 

Funyuns
Pork rinds
Beef jerky
Pistachios
Trail mix

Coke and sweet tea

 

Popcorn, pretzels, hot chocolate, chocolate raisins, any fast food that I come across but especially burger king

 

M&Ms or Smarties depending on which country I'm in. I also love Bold Party Blend flavored Chex Mix and chocolate chip muffins.

 

Sandwiches
Cashew (nuts)
Gummi bears
pretzel sticks
Soda (Coke, Pepsi or Dr. Pepper, don't care which one)
Crackers
chewing gum or mints (esp. if it'a a longer drive/trip)
Mini-Oreos and Cheez-Its (but they are hard to get here... =/)

I could go on and on... well, I don't eat them all simultaneously, but they are all favourites... when on the road I definitely eat too much junk food...

I eat snacks even when I am not going on trips:
Fresh Spinach Leaves, but I hate lettuce - Weird Huh, lol
Potato Chips
Raspberries, Blueberries, Blackberries
Applesauce, but I hate fresh apples. lol
Prosciutto
Spicy Pickles
Bananas
Garlic Stuffed Olives

 

Just make sure I have a Pepsi and I'll be fine. And I'd better be the one driving, or you're going to have a miserable passenger.

 

Ritz crackers, cookies, nature valley bars, cheez its, and usually water.

 

Clementines are the best road trip snacks! They're juicy, so they don't make you thirsty (and then you drink a lot of water and you have to pee and then the trip takes twice as long because you're stopping all the time), and they're also delicious!

Ritz crackers and cheese whiz, how I love thee... But seriously, I always freak out about the crumbs! Baby carrots, oatmeal raisin cookies, pink lemonade and flowing Pepsi if I'm the driver. Also, trail mix!

 

A strange combo of...

chocolate pretzels
pistachios
salt and vinegar potato chips
and hot buffalo wing pretzels

Not all at the same time though!:lol:

 

I've never had them as a road trip snack, but Oreos are my favorite snack and I have had to employ fortitude to keep them at bay ... for years.

So, if there were Oreos in the car, that would be a "problem."

 

Pretzels, trial mix, any kind of nut, Ritz peanut butter chackers, Cheezits, burritos, Coke/Pepsi, and of course... CHOCOLATE!
