I've spent all of em alone so don't feel bad

You had a gf before, you'll have one again. Keep your chin up, next year might just be different

    This, and likely plenty more.

Having not dated/been in a relationship, I can't say that the loneliness is something that makes me feel extra out of place though, ha, so I feel you.

Do some things for yourself today and try to have a little fun.

Valentine's Day is nothing but a gimmick as far as I'm concerned - alone or not, I never take it seriously.

I saw a lot of men buying last-minute gifts for their significant other at the supermarket today - I'm thankful I am not pressured or expected to buy roses and chocolates for anyone.

    I agree/disagree.

I agree that it's just a corporate excuse to make money, but in all honesty I can't think of a real reason to complain about an excuse to buy someone you love something nice. xD

In my school, you could buy roses that would be handed out on the thirteenth. Usually only people with a boyfriend or girlfriend get flowers. Imagine my surprise when I got one! Then, imagine my disappointment when I looked at the card and realized it was not to me, but a guy (with a girlfriend) in my class with the same first name.
