So a few days ago I went to school in the morning like any other day. I went to see my friends before class and there was this guy who was talking to one of my friends. This is how it went. "OMG Will, I have to show you this!" "What is it?" "This really hot guy... he's so good looking!" *she takes out her phone and shows me a photo of a hot muscly guy* He wasn't really the type of guys I liked so I said, "He's alright." And then, the guy who was standing there the whole time finally spoke up. "You know what dude? If you say anything to that photo, you're gay." Before I process what he says, all my friends say in unison, "BUT HE IS." The guy was so embarrassed he didn't even look at me in the eye. Before I said anything to him, he already left. Then everyone bursted out laughing... hahaha My friends... good times...
Doesn't mean he's homophobic; that's just the prevailing atmosphere of "ooh, watch out or people will think you're gay." Straight people sometimes keep the idea of gayness at a safe distance until it's forced upon them like in this situation. Obviously the guy felt a little bad/embarrassed for saying what he did. I just think it's sort of funny, like you have your own entourage to speak for you lol.
