    If he becomes president. I leave the US. Even if I go homeless.

    However, with this new info, he pretty much just sealed his not getting president. Any gay republicans are now going to go for Obama, as he at least doesn't endorse the ban.

    You know, the one thing that I really don't get is like... how some LGBT people can want McCain as president. Like... I just don't get it. I can understand that they're conservatives and everything, but they obviously don't really give a shit about the culture that they're a part of. It just doesn't make any sense at all.

    That's definitely true. I don't understand them either.

    I wish I was of voting age - I don't want John McCain. He's scary! ;_;

    He's old.
    We need better candidates for the republicans...
    Times are changing... and opinions need to change.

    IDK why I included his age. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    I'll be three weeks too young, but I'm telling all of my friends that wouldn't normally vote to vote. So I feel like I'm sorta doing my part. <3

    I'm hoping for Obama but truthfully, I'm apathetic- I really don't care much, yet.

    Hm... I think that is a bit much to say we don't give a shit. This feels like you are clumping all the LGBT people into a group and say they all have the same opinions about things. There are some issues that some people here take extremely serious where personally I don't really care about the issue. Now just because I'm part of this culture means I have to support everything they do? Eh. I don't believe that. That doesn't mean I don't care about the culture because I stand up for other things, it just means I don't care for the topic. Make sense?

    I don't really want... either.... =/ so I guess I'll just wait and see. But if I had to, I think Obama will be better than Mccain.

    I'm not saying that we all have the same political agenda or whatever, but at the same time how could you not want equal rights for a certain group of people? Especially when you're a part of that group. That's what I really don't understand. It's like being black and being against interracial marriage. I get that you're conservative and everything, but is it really worth it for you to sacrifice something major from your culture?

    I don't know, I mean... it's not like I'm going to change your opinion or anything, and I don't really want to. I'm just trying to understand, because personally I see it as fairly... insane, for lack of a better word.

    In my opinion (and it's only my opinion and I do respect others opinions) I believe that picking McCain for president will be like having Bush for another 4-8 years which means that we will be stuck with the same problems we are having now such as the economy etc, and I don't think McCain will do anything to improve the problems that the country is having right now. So you see its not only the gay marriage ban that makes me not want to vote for him but it was the icing on the cake. I disagreed with him before he chose to endorse the ban.

    However, everybody has a right too vote for who they want to be president and I think I was wrong to post above that anybody who votes for him is an idiot, I was just angry and I'm sorry if I have offended anybody.
