| Guest Posts: n/a |  my little sister...amazing this happened a couple of days ago but i havent had a chance to post till now me and my little sister - shes 10 - were walking home and we were talking about what school shell be going to next year (shes in year 5 and will be moving up to high school for year 7) she was telling me about her friend who has said she shouldnt come to my school because its a lesbian school (its a girls school) and i asked her what she said - expecting her to have said something bitchy back, and she just said "whats wrong with lesbians" i swear i have never been so proud as i was in that moment. she actually stopped me in my tracks, whatever i was expecting it wasnt that. she said the same thing happened when her and a friend were on my computer, and her friend started saying stuff about my desktop (which is jack and ianto from torchwood kissing), and saying the usual... eww guys kissing etc, and she just said why shouldnt guys kiss? her friend shut up after that!!! |

I wonder if she's intellectually more intelligent than the usual kid her age. Note that she doesn't outright promote homosexual behavior, but she also doesn't give in to homophobia. That is, she stays neutral and seems to try to collect information ("What's wrong with lesbians?") to make an informed decision. |
