What's appealing about glory holes?

It's not something I'd ever wanna do. Too anonymous and kind of gross to me >.>

 

I guess it's because a) public places b) it's promiscuous c) it's somebody you don't know

I've fantasized about it, but if I were in a toilet and someone shoved their dick from the next booth, the last thing I'd do is engage with it sexually

 

It's all about the anonymity and the sexual thrill one experiences when engaging in sexual activities with a total stranger. Personally, I am far too paranoid about contracting a disease to even contemplate doing anything like that.

Way too disease phobic to consider such a thing.

Plus, what if the person was a psycho, and bit it off??? Ouch!

And, there's better ways to get the effect of anonymity, even with your partner of many years...we sometimes play various roles, one can use leather and latex masks and such and play out scenarios safely with a lover.

Glory holes seem like some kind of past relic, from when people were more deeply closeted.

I admit that glory hole sex is a fantasy of mine, and, as someone whom is deeply closeted, I'm sure that this is the reason why. With the glory hole, one can kind of disassociate the act from the idea of "having sex", because you're only making love to a "disembodied" body part.

That said, I too am way too disease-phobic to ever try to make the fantasy a reality.

 

If I didn't have to worry about diseases I'd totally do it. That way it wouldn't matter how socially awkward I am or how much body fat I have; the part of me that goes through the glory hole works just fine. But because of my fear of STDs I won't do it unless it's just a handjob.

 

For me, nada. For some people, it's the appeal of anonymity. I was kind of shocked to see glory holes at a rest stop just up the Interstate from here. I'm surprised the state didn't see that and put in a work order to repair the stalls...

Never done it but it's a huuuuge fantasy of mine, and yeah it's mostly about the thrill, the "taboo" of public/stranger sex, and maybe even the ease of a no-strings just-sexual encounter.
