So the other day I was thinking about something… I have this friend from middle school, who I haven’t talked to or seen for about 11 years now and just last year I had him as a cashier in home depot. I clearly remembered him, but he didn’t seem like he remembered me. I’m ok with it because I try not to linger in the past. Some friendships last a lifetime; while others drift apart… after all we each have our own lives.

So I was wondering if you had a friend who doesn’t remember you, but you remember them… what would you do about it???

    A) Try to make them remember by talking about old times
    B) Forget about it and move on with your life
    C) Pretend that this is the first time you’ve met and start a new friendship even though you were already friends
    D) Some other option
I personally chose B but I thought C was funny and kinda twisted…

    I'd go for B or C

I think I'd strive towards C because reconnecting with old friends is always nice, but if you can't reconnect with them like you did in the past there is no sense in getting all hung up about it lol

It would depend on my mood, if I feel a bit adventurous I would choose C, any other day I would go with B.

I choose B but C is funny and sounds like something I'd try. I'm weird like that

Definitely A if I feel we were close enough(C could refresh memories too and lead to A). I'm the kind of guy who'd lose touch with a fair amount of people after transferring schools, etc., yet am memorable enough to get a 'hey, I remember you (my name if we were close enough)' months/years down the road.

I actually ran into a guy two or three days ago who remembered me from 9th grade(going on 8 years ago) because we had Science together and stuff.
