I'm not sure. I don't think anyone will ever know until they die.

Personally I identify as atheist...though lately a string of nightmares and late night panic attacks have been leaving me in a bit of a questioning kind of mood >.>

    I think so.

Sure, I've heard "Well, nobody has come back to tell us what happens afterwards."

OTOH, I've been around some people who were getting close to natural death and they sort of knew it without having a prolonged illness or anything - they started to give things away, they wanted to make sure they saw certain people, they wanted to patch things up with some others, and they were unbelievably serene about the whole thing. I'd be scared shitless. Guilt, perhaps? I have to think about that.

That's why I'd like to try and live without any regrets. That would be nice

None of us will ever know until we're dead, but as an agnostic atheist, my best bet would be...

There's no basis to say there is, but there's nothing to prove there isn't.

I personally believe that death is the end, the dictionary definition of death is the action or fact of dying or being killed; the end of the life of a person or organism. But the dictionary isn't always right, we'll know when we die

I honestly don't know, though the idea of there being no God or afterlife has become much more of a possibility since coming out to myself and others. Sometimes I wonder if the fact that there are far more atheists in the LGBT population has anything to do with this: long-term cognitive dissonance can be exhausting, and most people seem to either shut down messages from one side or another. I'd rather worry about life for the moment, and death when it comes.

My theory that I have always had is that this is merely a testing ground. People will prove who they are and their afterlife is determined by that. It is the only way I can say God exists and accept that mass murders, rape, stealing, and disease exist. Is it a bullet proof theory, nope. But anyone that follows this theory won't beat someone because they are gay or black or anything else that isn't white male.

I doubt it but I'd really like to think otherwise...

I really don't know, this is one question that I would love to know the answer to... Its a shame that we will never know until we actually die... Its a crazy mystery... When we die I basically think that we start life over again as the same person but events and things play out differently. I think that would be cool and awesome if that happened. I hate thinking deep like this, my brain goes in overdrive haha!

Who really knows. One thing is for sure, if there is, it's got nothing to do with any of the religions people believe in

I would love to believe in God or some other holy entity, but I don't.

How many religions are there in the world? 100?
And they all claim to be the only one which is right, and all the others are nonsense, so what chance of any one being right after all?

The Holy Grail: What? Drinking out of a poxy goblet will make you live forever in eternal youth?
No. I think when this is achieved, it will be through genetics and science.

Eternal life: Your atoms in your body will exist almost forever, so in effect, you will also albeit without knowing anything about it.

    Ramble, ramble, natter natter.......

The universe has been here for 13 odd billion years and then here you are. That time has gone in a flash and after you die, so will the next 13 billion years.
