So, I got back from Atlanta about a week ago. And to all Georgians, North and South Carolinians, Virginians, and my good friends in the State of Tennessee, and to my friends here at home in Kentucky, you guys have beautiful states. Driving down the highway, seeing the beautiful summertime flowers, in the nice warm weather of the deep south...gave me a sense of "this is where I belong" again. A feeling I've not had in a while. So if you guys live in any of those states, be thankful. They're truly beautiful. Anywho, and to those who live in Atlanta. It's gorgeous. Inside and out, from downtown, to the outskirts of town, and frmo the capitol to the undergroud, it's great. I visited the CNN Center, The Georgia Aquarium, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum, Stone Mountain, Centennial Olympic Park, and The World Of Coca Cola. While at the World of Coke, I went to the taste room, and tried flavours from all over the world. And in the breifing room, the warned us of the drink from Italy, called Beverly. In one word? Horrendous. Tasted, to me, like vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and strait vodak all blended together. It was awful. Have any of you ever been? Tasted that crap? Haha. Let's get some replys. :]
Yeah I Know South Carolina is awesome! I haven't been to The World Of Coca Cola, but at Epcot they have a thing where you can taste flavours of around the world. Itlay does taste like shit!
I used to live in Atlanta, I've since moved to southern Georgia But, Atlanta is a beautiful place to be during the summer. Last time I was there, the windows were still out on some of the floors at the Westin hotel downtown (the big round building) from the tornado, is that still the case?
That is very much still the case. I counted lots of buildings that had the glass still gone. You'd think they would have fixed it by now.
I live in Virginia and I hate it and love it at the same time. I live near Jamestown and all the battlefields and there is a wonderful road called Colonial Parkway that is absolutely gorgeous, especially when the leaves on the trees are changing colors. I really enjoy this state when I'm driving down that road. But then I get out of my car and feel how hot and humid this state is and I wish I lived in South Dakota again. As far as Coke goes, I'm more of a Pepsi person.
That's all and well everything but to me it sounds like they just are trying to hard to be like Canada. Sorry it can't be done. hahaha just joking. I'd love the Coke factory!
I've been to the Coca Cola place here in Vegas and it was pretty bad sampling the different types of Coke in the world. I think though they took that out of Coca Cola World.
No I haven't been in this so called "world of coke" I didn't even know these things existed! XD I should add them to my list of places to visit before I die... together with E3.
